Madeleine McCann was reported missing on May 3rd last year. Her parents claim she was abducted. There is no convincing evidence to support this claim. Mr and Mrs McCann remain prime suspects.

McMillan-Scott and the McCanns might like us to think that Madeleine McCann would have been found safe and well if there was an Europe-wide amber alert system that they are campaigning for.

If the McCanns cared about child protection, they would not have left three young children alone. Instead of claiming that what they did was "good parenting," they would admit they were wrong and they would plead that other parents do not do the same. This has not happened. Why not?
